WIFTI MISSION STATEMENT:
Women In Film & Television International (WIFTI) is a global network comprised of some 40 Women In Film Chapters worldwide and over 13,000 members dedicated to advancing professional development and achievement for women working in all areas of film, video, and other screen-based media.  

This website is devoted to the Chapters around the world so that they may communicate with each other and the WIFTI Board.  Please feel free to use the Forums, Post Announcements for your Chapters, email each other and update your profile with pictures and videos.

* WIFTI does not offer individual memberships.  Individuals interested in joining a WIFTI chapter should contact directly the local organization nearest to them for an application. ANNOUNCEMENTS

PITTSBURGH, August 2013 - Women In Film and Media Pittsburgh will play host to the 2014 Women In Film and Television International (WIFTI) Summit May 16, 17 and 18,, 2014, which draws hundreds of women from the 40 chapters located throughout the world to discuss filmmaking issues and attend panel discussions and screenings.

“This is a huge thrill for our chapter to be the host of this summit and show the world what Pittsburgh is capable of in the film industry. We will be drawing from our local film and television community to form our panel discussions and showcase Pittsburgh at the same time,” said Faith Dickinson, President and Founder of Women In Film and Media Pittsburgh and WIFTI Board member.

The 2014 Summit will draw attendees from around the world as well as local interested filmmakers. The Summit will include panel discussions, screenings, education sessions, networking events, Opal Awards presentation and other events.

Our Bi-annual Summit was held in Washington, DC in December 2012 and drew Film, Television and New Media participants from New Zealand, Sweden, London, Mexico and across the United States and Canada.

The Summit draws Film and Television and New Media talent from around the world to gather to network and experience the talent and expertise that thrives in the Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania film market.

The Women In Film Foundation’s Film Finishing Fund (WIFF FFF) supports films by, for or about women by providing cash grants of up to $15,000 and in-kind services.

THE 2014 FUNDING CYCLE IS NOW OPEN!

2014 Appllications must be received (not postmarked) by June 6, 2014
