With a focus on driving the advancement of women in this industry, WIF Chicago provides a dynamic network to facilitate the exchange of ideas and opportunities and builds a solid educational platform to accelerate the professional development of our members.

About Your Chapter/History

Prior to 2000 Chicago had a Women in Film Chapter, but it went dormant for a few years until 2005 when the current Women in Film Chicago was resurrected, with new board members, new bylaws and new energy. A few years after that we became a legal non-profit with 501(3)(c) status.
