About Your Chapter/History

The Minnesota chapter of WIFT (MNWIFT) was formally registered as a non-profit entity in June 2005. It joins over 40 other Women in Film chapters with 10,000 global members.

We're an all-volunteer organization committed to educating our members on cutting edge technologies and trends in the industry.

Our members are a diverse group representing several facets of the industry - such as editors, filmmakers, video producers, directors, writers, graphic artists, audio engineers, hair, makeup and wardrobe stylists.

Brief Description of your Key Programs

Becoming a member of MN WIFT will connect you with over 40 other Women in Film & Television chapters around the world and, even more importantly, connect you with women who are active in the industry locally. Think of your membership as a tool for career enhancement.

Among the organization’s benefits are:

-Access to the area’s industry vendor resources via private tours and demonstrations
-Association with other industry partnerships
-Visibility within the industry
-Opportunity to connect with and learn from others
Access to a targeted audience for marketing purposes (i.e. newsletter, online calendar, web links, etc.)
